You have everything you need? Then get started!

Yard stick measures outer edge of the closet door.
Step 1

Disassemble both doors of the closet. Lay them flat on the floor and determine the dimensions of the outer frame of the door. Add some overhang for gluing around the edges – transfer the dimensions in pencil to the rear side of the d-c-fix Rustik adhesive foil.

Yard stick rests on the inner recessed part of the closet door for measuring.
Step 2

Now determine the dimensions of the inner cassette of the door. Then transfer these dimensions to the rear side of the d-c-fix Bahia adhesive foil.

Utility knife cuts the foil along a rule.
Step 3

Using the utility knife, cut the Rustik and Bahia foils along each of the markings.

Hand removes backing paper of the Rustik foil.
Step 4

Now remove the backing paper of the Rustik adhesive foil and place the piece of foil on the door.

Doctor blade smooths over the Rustik foil.
Step 5

Apply the foil to the door with the doctor blade, working from the outside inwards – cut the inner recessed area and leave it free.

Doctor blade strokes the Bahia foil in the inner part of the door.
Step 6

Peel off the backing paper from the piece of Bahia foil and doctor blade the adhesive foil onto the inner recessed part of the door.

You did it!
