Step-by-step application guide for d-c-fix
Tools required
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
- d-c-fix application kit with doctor blade and utility knife
Step 1
Measure:
Measure the piece of furniture to determine the amount of material required. Allow for 1 cm excess if required. Transfer the dimensions of the piece of furniture being decorated onto the back of the film.
Step 2
Cut the film to size:
Cut the film according to the measurements taken with the aid of the grid on the back of the film.
Step 3
Peel off the backing paper:
Slowly remove the backing paper from the film, starting at the corner.
Step 4
Apply adhesive film:
Apply the film to the selected piece of furniture step by step. If necessary, use a doctor blade to help push out any air bubbles and position the film perfectly on the surface to be covered.
