DIY for greater safety: with d-c-fix Splinter protection film

Are splinters good luck? Not really! Anyone who’s ever hurt themselves on a broken glass certainly won’t think so. Broken glass at home is a major risk for injuries, and one you don’t want to imagine when you consider how a window, interior glass door, skylight or mirror breaks.

The perfect solution for preventing serious accidents and cuts caused by broken glass or sharp-edged splinters is the new d-c-fix Splinter protective film, which is easy to apply to windows, glass doors, glass panels in doors or furniture, and mirrors, is virtually invisible, and retains splinters in the event of glass breakage thanks to its particularly strong adhesive. The window film also offers a cost-effective alternative to reglazing, as glass surfaces can be retrofitted with it. d-c-fix window film helps to prevent possible injuries from broken glass and glass splinters, with the good feeling of knowing you’ve done the right thing to protect everyone in your home. Let’s get started!

When you have the film correctly positioned, use the scraper to squeeze out the water between the glass and the window film. The best way to do this is to lightly press outwards from the center.
