Preparation
Preparation

You have everything you need? Then get started!

Hands hold a measuring tape along the bed headboard.
Step 1

Measure the surfaces of the bed being covered and make a note of them all.

Pencil draws a marking on the back of the adhesive foil.
Step 2

Next, transfer the individual dimensions of the bed elements being covered onto the back of the adhesive foil, leaving a few centimeters of excess as a buffer along all of the edges.

Utility knife cuts foil along ruler.
Step 3

Then cut the various pieces of adhesive foil using a ruler and a utility knife.

Hand holds smoothing blade and presses down the adhesive foil.
Step 4

Peel the backing paper from the piece of foil and cover the relevant surface with it. Be sure to apply the adhesive foil accurately, press it down with the flat of your hand and then press it down firmly with the smoothing blade.

Scissors cut diagonally into the excess foil at a corner of the piece of furniture.
Step 5

Cut the adhesive foil diagonally at the corners with the scissors – this is the best way to cover the corners and edges.

Utility knife cuts off excess foil.
Step 6

Carefully cut away any excess adhesive foil at the corners using the utility knife.

You did it!
