Super cute and easy to make: adorable animal masks

Donuts, candies and other treats – we can’t get enough of them at carnival time. But what’s more important than these tasty delights? A cool costume of course! Animals are always a hit – whether cats, mice or bears. You can create the perfect look with cute animal masks. And they’re so easy to make yourself. DIY for cute animal masks

You have everything you need? Then get started!

Hand smooths film onto paper plate.
Step 1

Place a paper plate on the “Uni Matt light gray” film and cut the film to size. Then remove the backing paper and smooth the film into place.

Scissors cut paper plate in half.
Step 2

Cut the covered paper plate in half using scissors.

Scissors cut holes in plates.
Step 3

Use the tealight as a template for the eyes and draw around it on the inside of the plate using a pencil. Use scissors to cut out the holes. 

Pencil draws ears on the other half of the paper plate.
Step 4

Use a pencil to draw the ears on the inside of the other half of the paper plate and cut them out with scissors.

Hand affixes ears onto paper plate.
Step 5

Affix the ears to the rounded edge of the plate using double-sided adhesive tape.

The backing paper is removed.
Step 6

Transfer the shapes to the back of each sheet of film. For example, mouth and nose on “Uni Matt black,” cheeks on “Ash Rose” and ears on “sand.” Then cut out with scissors, remove the backing paper and smooth onto the plate.

Hand punches holes in paper plate using a hole punch.
Step 7

Punch a hole on the left and right of the paper plate.

Hand knots the rubber band at the holes.
Step 8

Thread the rubber band through the holes and tie it on both sides.
