Here are the instructions for the DIY privacy screen

You have everything you need? Then get started! 

Window is measured.
Step 1

First, measure the window area that is to be made opaque. Then cut the Static Waves privacy foil accordingly.

Spray bottle spraying clean window glass.
Step 2

Thoroughly clean the window and wipe it dry. Then moisten the glass surface well using the spray bottle.

Hand pulling backing paper off foil.
Step 3

Remove the backing paper from the cut piece of Static Waves foil.

Window foil is applied to glass surface.
Step 4

Apply window foil to the edge of the glass surface.

Hand with doctor blade smooths foil into place on window pane.
Step 5

Press the foil on by hand and then squeeze out the excess water between the foil and the window pane using the doctor blade.

Hand holding cloth wipes the window dry.
Step 6

Finally, rub the window dry using a cloth.
