Too early to think about Christmas? Not at all. After all, it’s never too early to start thinking about something beautiful. Or to conjure up something great with a DIY upcycling for the pre-Christmas season! Like the ingenious and very classy-looking homemade advent calendar made from recycled screw-top jars of various sizes: with the d-c-fix Romeo gold adhesive foil, these become real gems in a trendy marble look. You will need:
- d-c-fix Marble Romeo gold
- d-c-fix Metallic High-gloss gold
- d-c-fix application kit with scraper & utility knife
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Pencil
- 24 jars with screw lids

How to make the advent calendar, step by step:
Step 1
Remove adhesive, labels and grease residue from the jars.
Step 2
Measure the circumference of each jar and transfer the measurements to the back paper of the Romeo adhesive foil.
Step 3
Next, cut out the rectangles allowing for some excess Romeo foil.
Step 4
Remove the backing paper from the foil and apply the adhesive foil to the jar.
Step 5
Use the scraper to apply the adhesive foil all around the jar. The adhesive foil should overlap slightly.
Step 6
Cut out the numbers from 1 to 24 and the small stars from the gold adhesive foil – and apply these to the jars as well. If available, a star-shaped punch can also be used for the stars.
